The Grounds for Health Coffee Auction rallies the coffee community to support women’s health services in coffee-growing countries. 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to support Grounds for Health.
Since 1996, Grounds for Health has been establishing cervical cancer prevention programs in coffee-growing communities. This international non-profit collaborates with coffee cooperatives and local health officials, working to eradicate cervical cancer, which kills more women in developing regions than any other form of cancer.
From producers to roasters, importers to retailers, the Grounds for Health Auction brings together the coffee industry in a powerful way.
How it Works
- Producers and importers donate coffee – these donations determine how successful the auction will be
- Available lots, descriptions, and scores are posted here and on the Stoneworks website
- June 18-19, 2013: Roasters and importers bid online at Stoneworks Coffee Auctions
- EXTRA CREDIT! Once you win coffee at auction you can move to the next level by promoting your coffee in-house. Find suggestions on the Create a Cause Coffee tab at the top of the page. This is the best way roasters/retailers can have an even greater impact
